Easily one of the most beautiful countries in the world, Costa Rica is known more for tourism than missions, but ministry opportunities abound.  The capital city of San Jose, offers an inner-city feel with plenty of street ministry, construction projects, and orphanages available.  You can also take a several hour journey outside the city to work in more remote villages.  Of course, since you’re in paradise, you can spend your free day(s) zip lining and visiting the beaches and markets.
